To lead and direct key stakeholders’ management functions (Land acquisition and NOC)
in order to streamline and to create effectiveness and efficiency of business processes of the Oman Global Logistics Group (OGL) in line with strategic objectives and goals of
the company.
Principal duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
To develop and oversee the implementation of a land acquisition strategy and plans
Ensures the plan is comprehensive to all land needed to be acquired and the process timescale is sufficient for all contracts to be negotiated in good time prior to the commencement of project work in any specific segment or region
To ensure the ethical practices, in line with OGL corporate ethical strategies are followed
Use best practice throughout the process of planning the need, surveying the selected land, undertaking cost analyses, contract negotiations, inspection, and pre- commissioning of land
Maintain accurate details of land acquisition in a comprehensive database
Prepare the necessary information issuance of the public interest royal decree
Commissions agents to lead and deliver the acquisition process
Compiles regular reports on progress for executive and senior managers
Inputs to risk management processes
Ensures all statutory requirements in the acquisition of land and legal responsibilities in the event of compulsory acquisition are followed
Takes a leading role in managing complex stakeholder relationships e.g. Ministries, Govern-orates, Committees, and Communities.
Drafting proposals for compensation scheme
Engage stakeholders to identify and define the roadmap of social investment and community relations.
Establish long-term strategic initiatives in alignment with OGL corporate objectives.
Establish, communicate & monitor performance targets associated with various roles, agree and ensure delivery of the same.

Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification
BSc degree in Engineering Discipline or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum 9 years’ experience in Stakeholder Management
Knowledge/Skills/Languages required
Negotiating skills,
Surveying background knowledge

Land acquisition issues
Meeting or exceeding stakeholders expectations which are often times conflicting
Mitigating internal customer needs and external customer needs for optimal result
