HR Coordinator

Job Description:

Objectives:

This position is required to lead a team of four team members and will be held accountable for the government liaison work of all the Group's Companies and the hiring of managerial level positions across the Group. 
The key facets of this profile are as follows:

Key job functions -

Recruitment and hiring of personnel:

• To be directly responsible for hiring of key personnel across the Group's Companies in a timely manner.
• To create a talent pool of prospective candidates and to leverage the same for hiring of personnel across the Group.
• To monitor and optimize the staff cost across the Group and to ensure alignment with the budgeted staff costs.
• To develop relations with placement / executive search firms across GCC and to leverage their expertise in sourcing senior management personnel.
• To optimize the use of online job portals to minimize the hiring costs.

Training and Development of personnel:

• To develop relations with training companies in Bahrain who are registered with the ministry.
• To monitor and claim back the training levy paid by Group's Companies from the government authorities by organizing training programmes for personnel.

Government liaison function:

• To ensure that all staff visas are valid and regularized.
• To liaise with the Government authorities to ensure compliance with the staff related legal aspects.
• To strive to maintain the Bahrainization ratio of staff at the levels prescribed by the Government authorities. 
• To ensure that CRs of all the Group's Companies are valid. 

Any other work that may be assigned:

• The HR Coordinator is expected to undertake and execute any other tasks that may be assigned to him by the Directors or the Group Finance Manager.

Experience: 6 - 10 years
Location: Bahrain - Bahrain
Education: MBA/PG Diploma in Business Mgmt, Bachelor of Commerce(Commerce).
