TRS women walk away with ULB top posts in state

Telangana: The ruling TRS walked away with posts of mayor, deputy mayor, chairperson and deputy chairperson in the indirect elections held in the seven urban local bodies on Friday.

Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao gave 10 of the 14 posts of mayor, deputy mayor, chairperson and deputy chairperson to women.
