Job Description:
Installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of a variety of analyzer, instrumentation, metering transmitters, equipment such as (Zirconia Analyzer, Paramagnetic analyzer, THC Hydrocarbon, CO2 Analyzer, O2 purity and O2 ppm analyzer, moisture analyzer, Gas chromatograph, sampling system, cylinder handling and storage, other accessories, etc.,
■ Perform the PM and CM for the analyzer and metering station instrument as per the schedule.
■ Trouble shooting of Analyzer and Instrumentation systems. ■ Personally carrying out a variety of skilled analyzer works.
■ Entering the calibration data sheet and periodical testing tasks into Merridium System after completion PM & CM job. (This is for all analyzer, metering devices, etc.)
■ Receives work assignments and related orders from supervisor, examines the faulty device, instruments, collects proper tools and spare parts and executes the job
■ Personally carries out the assignments of installation, maintenance and repair on site or in Analyzer repair shop. Includes disassembling, cleaning, repairing, overhauling, replacing, reinstalling and testing faulty instruments.
■ Executes preventive maintenance program for all analyzer and quality instruments / equipment as per scheduled and as defined in the preventive maintenance plan and SAP system.
■ Performs testing, calibration and reinstallation of repaired analyzer and quality instrument items as advised from Supervisor ensuring the accuracy of the unit’s operation. Records critical reading independently, according to set tolerances and operating requirements.
■ Perform other duties associated to the job assigned to him such as collecting materials / spare parts from warehouse, collecting permits from operations etc.
■ Executes the assigned job following all fire and safety regulations of the company.
