Job Description
QA/QC Third Party Inspection including but not limited to the following:
• In-service inspection of Storage tanks / piping and pipeline projects which includes construction, Inspection & testing activities.
• Visual and Dimensional inspection of various components/ weldments/painted units
• Painting Inspection, review painting procedures and reports.
• Welding inspection, review WPS/PQR/WPQT.
• Preparing documents like ITP, Method statement, WPS for the projects.
• Witnessing of PQR, WQT and laboratory mechanical tests/ painting related tests.
• Interpreting test results to various standards, preparing test and inspection reports for inspection data base.
• Performing and witness vendor inspection of Valves, material and equipment
• Familiarity with material types like carbon steel, low alloy steel and stainless steel.
• Knowledge in reading of general assembly / sub assembly drawings / isometrics for piping, various equipment's and components.
• Mobilizing and Management of Inspection Resources required executing inspection activities, using in-house resources.
• Coordination with client inspection team and issue inspection reports and NCRs to client
• Conversant with international codes and standards like ASME, API, API 653, API 650, AWS, ANSI, DIN, BS and specifications like, ADCO, ARAMCO etc.
• Advise on repair techniques, materials selection, welding procedures, inspection & testing requirements
• Preparation of final inspection reports. Maintain and update all inspection files as needed
• 32" Grade X60, 56" Grade X 65 Manufacturing of spiral seam welded pipe by SAW Welding process
