Reporting To: Construction Manager
Job Duties:
1- Assistance to Construction Manager in Planning Process & Participation in Executing plans and programs within the developed objectives.
2- Preparing the Project engineering schedules and forecasts, project status reports and change orders. In addition to coordinating and checking of engineering deliverables.
3- Conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.
4- Follow-up the Consultant Office reports, and handling,
processing all the corrective comments.
5- Processing administrative work, including change orders, submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs
6- Coordinating the project schedule and maintaining this throughout the project. Optimizing the use of personnel to achieve the schedule and forecasting and addressing deviations.
7- Ensuring compliance of project operations with HSE standards and deal with discrepancies in coordination with the Project HSE Manager.
8- Coordinating and supporting the activities of the project staff to ensure that all necessary activities are reviewed with actions properly assigned, timescales agreed and relevant parties properly briefed with new communication channels established as needed.
9- Coordinating with concerned staff & assisting in development of Construction Schedule and the mechanisms to monitor subsequent progress against the schedule. Ensuring that proper corrective actions are made when variation from plan occurs.
10- Establishing effective monitoring and reporting system in compliance with ABE’s guidelines and policies, local labor laws and safety procedures.
11- Developing periodic reports related to the activities of the project.
12- Handling any other work related activities as per the direction of the Construction Manager.
13- Coordinating with the workshop to follow-up on maintenance issues.
